I was raised here in the Santa Carita Valley. I attended Meadows Elementary, Placerita Junior High, and Hart High School. I went on to receive my Bachelors of Science, in International Business and Public Policy from the University of Maryland.  While obtaining that degree, I was serving Active Duty in the Navy. I was trained as a Korean interpreter and an intelligence analyst. I had the privilege of deploying overseas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and the Global War on Terror.

Following my service in the Navy, I joined the Missile Defense Agency where I was honored to work on special programs that protected our nation’s interests. It was my desire to serve others that took my career to greater heights. I left the Missile Defense Agency to go to law school with the goal of becoming a lawyer in the Defense industry. Shortly after finishing law school, I joined Northrop Grumman, where I continue to work today. I am the Manager of Subcontracts for the B-2 bomber program. My responsibilities include vetting, managing, contracting, and resolving disputes with suppliers from around the country.

In addition to my career, I enjoy serving my community in many other ways. I dedicate a lot of my time to Santa Clarita’s public schools through my participation on the executive board of the WiSH Education Foundation, the William S. Hart School Board Citizen Oversight Committee, and by participating on the Meadows Elementary School Site Council. I also serve my community’s veterans through several organizations, including, the Wounded Warrior Project, The United Heroes League, and the SCV Vet Center. Lastly, I dedicate a significant amount of time to professional and community development organizations because I truly believe in my community’s future. I am an active member of the Valley Industry Association, the SCV Chamber of Commerce, the Santa Clarita Bar Association, and the Junior Chamber International, where I have been elected to serve as the Executive Vice President for 2020.

I am a family man at heart. In addition to having my wonderful wife Karla by my side, I also have a 6 year old son and a new baby girl.
