Jessica Chambers
Vice President of Civic Engagement
Jessica Roussel-Chambers was born and raised in Castaic. She received her B.A. from UCLA and a teaching credential from CSUN. Currently, Jessica is a real estate agent and a mother who has chosen to raise her own family in Castaic and to use her education, passion and skills to improve her community. Jessica is an elected official representing her community as the President of the Castaic Area Town Council (CATC), an Advisory Board to the 5th District L.A. County Supervisor’s Office. She has served on the CATC since 2015. She served as Secretary and Vice President of the CATC before, in 2018, being elected President. In this role, Jessica actively works to improve community outreach and participation. As a community leader, key projects of hers include: improving traffic safety, securing upgrades for local community parks and creating new community events, such as the inaugural Gnome Festival to be held in April 2019. Jessica is also a member of the SCV Sunrise Rotary Club where she is Chair of the Interact Club for the Santa Clarita Valley International School (SCVi) and has been involved with Backpacks for Puerto Rico, a community service project of SCVi and with the establishment of a Peace Garden at SCVi. Additionally, she is member of the SCV Chamber of Commerce, Next SCV and serves as a Delegate for the 38th District. Jessica actively supports small businesses, NGOs and local schools in her community through special events, volunteerism and as a patron. She enjoys highlighting the beauty of her local community and sharing with others all that Castaic has to offer as she actively works to bring individuals in the community closer together.
